LAWS is an organization separate from the local animal shelter - but we work together! LAWS coordinates a volunteer program for the shelter which is always in need of kind people (18 and up) willing to help comfort and play with cats, and /or walk and  socialize dogs. Applications are available through LAWS or at Leavenworth Animal Control 2019 S. 3rd St, Leavenworth behind Price Chopper. Monday thru Friday 9am - 5pm.

 

Individuals and youth can help in many ways:

• Make comfort blankets & comfort boxes.

• Host a bake sale or fund drive.

• Collect items and food needed at the shelter.

• Coordinate a food drive for the LAWS Free Pet Food Pantry

• Provide a foster home
